Glenda Keyes, Artist
Glenda Keyes is a self-taught artist and a muralist. Born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains of Upper New York State, the natural beauty of the area set the stage for her appreciation of art through nature. She was influenced by the watercolors of the Adirondacks by Winslow Homer and the late Robert Plumb, a local artist.
Some of her current work is inspired by the towns and vineyards in Provence, France when a group of artists followed in Van Gogh's footsteps.
Glenda has been commissioned to paint murals in many schools.. She has been involved with the Parade of Homes, Designer Show House, Public Library in NC, and businesses and private homes. . She has written and illustrated a children’s book which she hopes to publish.
Glenda continues to paint murals, watercolor, acrylic and oils as she pursues her passion in painting. She enjoys creating and meeting each challenge with a fresh mind.
