Glenda Keyes was raised in the Adirondack Mountains of Upper New York State where the natural beauty of the area set the stage for her appreciation of art through nature.  She is self-taught having started early in life drawing on the walls of her room.  This is portrayed in a book she hopes to publish.  Following a career as a Special Education teacher, Glenda utilizes those skills to involve and encourage others in the many rewards of painting.
​Currently she works in all mediums with a focus on oils of florals and forests using color to capture light and energy.
